So, I know the title is kinda cheesy, especially since it is an Ashley Simpson song, but thats what popped in my head. Though I do have to give her credit, style wise, she has grown a lot and she looks amazing with short hair. So I took these photos, again kinda edgy. I am happy to show off the other shoes I got for only $8.48 from Target.

Just Another Manic Monday.

So today has been very eventful. I woke up at 7am, which I didn't care to do, to take my grandmother to the doctor. Well let me tell you about yesterday first.Yesterday I went to the gym with my grandmother and I met with a trainer. Well that trainer kick my butt. He made me work on my low extremities, which now I'm paying for with immense pain and soreness (I'm sure that's not a word, but that's how it feels.) So today I've been walking kinda funny with sore legs. After the doctor, I took Nana (my grandmother) to get some lab work and then we went to Target to get some stuff for the gym. Target is super amazing! I found the cutest maroon/burgundy wedges for $8.98!! What a steal!! I cant wait to show them off! I also got some windshield wipers, which putting on was more trouble than it should have been. So picture this, me trying to figure out how to put them on, while its raining! Finally a woman came and finally helped. She made it look so easy, haha. Dont you just love it when that happens. Then we went to the gym, which I worked on my upper body. My cousin was with me, which makes it alot more fun. My grandmother had a great time in the pool. She is so cute! Well enough of that, here are some pictres I took the other day, they arent anything majorly amazing, but they are something.

Lets face it, it is really easy to stick to our norm. But I want to challenge myself to go outside my "bubble" and try new styles and things I am not so sure about. Here are a few style savy people who have set there resolutions for 2012 to try. (pictures from Vogue.com)

I tend to go for classic, timeless, tailored looks, but the bold prints in Joseph Altuzarra’s spring show reminded me that getting dressed up is all about having fun. In all areas of my life, style included, 2012 is going to be all about pushing boundaries!

So this will be a short post, but I wanted to share some great news!! A woman, whom owns a boutique, saw my pictures on my facebook account and asked me to be a model for Mykal Chu. Mykal is a couture designer, who has an amazing sense of style. I am really excited that she thought I would be perfect for it!! Here is a video of some of his work.

So I saw the coolest idea via another blog, Sugar Derby. She saw a photo of an expensive necklace and decided to make her own using duck tape. So I tried it myself and its a total WIN! So many people compliment it and wanted me to make them one. However, I tried doing different designs using the Duck tape and paper clips, I also expanded the idea. I used the Duck tape that I bought to create other accessory pieces. From Duck tape wallets, Duck tape flowers, Duck tape pursing, Duck tape camera cases and much more to come! I am excited to share these with you. I will soon post the D.I.Y steps into creating your own. I mean what a great personalized gift to give. Who knows I may even sell them. Geometric Love

 So who doesn't love Geometric prints?! I love them. Ever since I first saw them, I was just astonished. Its so retro and cool. You can dress it up or down, make it look hard or soft.
